Jörn Schiemann, Dipl. Ing. architect

Jörn Schiemann is founding partner of schiemann weyers architects, Rotterdam. After graduating from the Technical University in Darmstadt (D) he worked as architect / urban planner at West 8 landscape architects and DKV architecten. In 2007, he established schiemann weyers architects with Otto Weyers. He has taught at the Rotterdam Academie van Bouwkunst, the Samara State University, the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, the Technical University of Delft and at the Academie van Bouwkunst Amsterdam. In 2011 he joined the editorial board of the architectural magazine FORUM, where he collaborated until 2017. From 2012 to 2015, Jörn Schiemann and Otto Weyers were urban planning advisors of the City Projects Bureau in Perm (RU), where they were engaged with advisory tasks on specific urban topics within the framework of the Perm Strategic Masterplan.
